Also it seems that Edgar can once in a while fuck me up in the first part of his boss fight

For me, it would be Earnest. I had to replay that mission many times when i first played it.

I'd say Derby.
Russell takes long, since I have to stay at a distance, and use fire crackers and the slingshot to beat him.
Derby was and still is a pain for me on occasion, due to him blocking more than the others, plus not being able to be grappled. Plus blocking the doors can be hard on top.
Johnny was easy for me, since he can be grappled, plus he blocks less than Derby, however he is scary, as soon as he does the axekick and grabs you by the neck.
Earnest was just a boss you had to figure the pattern of.
Mascot had counter moves, so he was pretty tough; you just had to exploit him.
Ted was pretty easy; I loved the music on it.
Edgar was annoying to get used to, part 1 with blocking and attacking the the shield (I still struggle to find the pattern on this fight), 2nd part is waiting for him to attack, then attacking and predicting when he'll block or attack.
Gary was simple, since it was fists only, plus even though he was close to Derby with blocking, he could be grappled and you could just keep knocking him down and keep punching him lol.
